It's about time!

For an update to this semi-sorta-kinda-woulda update to my blog. I don't know if the lot of you here heard of it but like the title of the post says:

It's about time! To React, that is. And that's kinda my way to help, however small it is.

Friday (OBVIOUSLY)

I've been lazy and preoccupied with work and the side-tracking that comes with it, and been busy reading web comics. LOTS of it. Web comics = My own productivity killer.

Check out No Pink Ponies here or on the side bar. And vote/support it. Heck, vote/support every comic site i got right there. :D

It still bites that the very moment you get your salary, you end up losing 9/10 or 7/8 or 6/7 or 5/6 or 4/5 or 3/4 or 2/3 or 1/2 of it by paying off bills and study loans and stuff you bought by credit, either the card or verbal credit. This bites.

Munchkin & Munchkin Fu tonight. Woo.... Unnatural Axe should come in next week, that'll be Mac's and Monky Business should be in next month.

Of things

That I've been busy at work and I hardly blog or do anything on the PC at home.

So, here's the news which most of them are late anyways. Firstly, over stretched my right leg at last Sunday's training. It's much better now so should be back at kicking air by Wednesday evening.

Leaving for K.L for a 2-day seminar, I'll be back on Saturday night.

Jerome got this and I'm hooked. Hooked as in I enlisted his help to order me Munchkin Fu which is no longer in print, as far as I know. And as of 15 minutes ago, I got him to order me Munchkinf Fu 2: Monky Business, A Munchkin Level Counter, and a Munchkin Spiky Paladin Miniature.

I wanted to get Munchkin Blender but let's not get ahead now. (pun so intended.) All this was completely against my better judgment.

Got around to re-working on my skeletal casing which has been left to gather dust and rust. After a good sand down, and a polish work last night to get rid and protect it from further rust, I'm gonna get to spray paint it. At the very least, my new rig will have a place to set up.

Watched 300 last night with the clan. There was a supposedly gay scene, somewhere 2 Spartans were engaged (pun so not intended) in a conversation of witty comeback, while piling up a wall of Persian corpses. I didn't catch that, maybe its because of the fat dude with his head sticking so fucking high up that i had to sit straight up and head high just to watch the movie properly.

Anyway's, Xerces is gay. And probably a masochist. I mean, look at him. He's got enough metal to trip off the detectors in the airport. His voice was most probably edited.

It took me a while to get it, but the Spartan who doubled as a storyteller also acted in Van Helsing as the friar who was the unwilling sidekick in the mission to slay Dracula.

And for those of us who played Guild Wars, there was a lot of screenshots that looked similar to the icons the warriors have.

I'll bet the poor person behind me is just as pissed as well, at me I am sure. Anyway, the movie was great, very well moistured, meaning there was a lot of blood loss and spatter. With at least 2 beheading scenes i can remember, but I'm sure there were more. I'm pretty sure the girls enjoyed the fan service (men in barely clad clothing, exposing 6-packs and A cups).

Left the cinema feeling pretty good about the movie except for one thing, the damned head in my view. We adjourned to Jln. Song for supper and Munchkins!

9 minutes to after office hours then it's off to paint job for my skeletal casing. After that, Mac's running a D&D game tonight so it should be interesting. Be safe on the way home people.

In the end

It's like being trapped in your seat because the safety belt's stuck & the car is rolling & tumbling and the glasses are cutting here and there. All of this in slow motion. In my mind, that's what I'm going through right now.

I'm begging for darkness to come.

Olla

Because I'm too lazy to think of a proper title.

I'm suddenly under a lot of pressure.

I'm under Muse - Supermassive Black Hole audiotherapy to get right of it.

How NOT to spend your weekend

Having to wake up on a Phyne (attrib. Zack) Saturday morning & finding out that you have a colossal headache, your joints are aching all over, your throat has a burning, coarse, lump of coal stuck in there and you're fighting the urge to spontaneously heave.

I'm all much better now, thanks to a day off and a barrage of meds, which ironicly will cure me but over the course of the years will just null the effectiveness of the medicine because of the evolution of the virus's resistance to the drugs. Only thing that's still not fully cured is the cough. Yes, I've entered cough season.

Among other things

Since I was doing light blog reading, I came upon 2 recent post about gaming. So here's my dua-kali-lima. Don't ask me to translate it to English, I don't know how to explain it.

I've been gaming on my PC ever since the days of 286 and crashing the many ones that came after it. That also incurred the wrath of my dad and the sibling fights for game time with my brother for the PC. Now, with my own computer I have currently these to keep the gamer in me happy

Guild Wars. 3 expansions later and I've never looked back. No Subs.

EVE. Space fights. Total PVP. Jaw-dropping graphics. Free download, monthly subs.

Neverwinter Nights. Strip my level 20 monk naked & he can still kick your butt from here to Sunday.

Clive Barker's Undying. When I played it for the first time in 2001, it kept me at flight-or-fight mode. Now, still do.

Even after the spooks treatment from Undying, I still get nasty suprises from exploding fireworks. I do not enjoy being jumped out of my skin when fireworks goes BOOM out of the blue, hence the fist shake.

Wedding plan day 2 and already the estimated figures are hitting 4-digit values. Thing's I've learn about searching for local websites.

1. 99% of them are all aimed at tourist or the tourism industry.

2. Jewellery store sites are non-existant. Prove me wrong. She found hers, I found mine, but there might be a complication.

3. Alvin & Ferdinand are awesome. Is there anyone in the group willing to volunteer to do it? :D

4. The closest hit to a wedding banquet in google is a static page in Merdeka Palace that gives a number to dial. a bit more information would be useful.
