Dang it.

First it was the ear.

Yesterday was the sore throat.

Today, sneezing my head off.

Tomorrow is anyone's guess

Take care now.

Hari Ini Saya...

RWMF day 1.

Did my usual thing. Got to the office, turn on the computer, updated the antivirus, logged into Yahoo Messenger.

Surfed the web, checked mail, read some stuff from Marita, Dee, Mac, Rin, Velvetraven, Kenny.

Then I checked my friendster account. Nothing much to do there, checked some bulletin postings, and out of morbid curiosity, I searched for Kenny's account.

You know that horrorscope thingymado they added to Friendster? Well... this is just wrong(to me anyway).

screenshot

Kenny, I dont know how you feel about this but I dont feel that way. I'm straight, and plus I'm taken. And I have hairy legs. You dont like hairy legs, right? Or was it that you find it a challenge that some one else has more hair than you, or was it your balls?

You all know this is just light-hearted humour, right?

H8 fest

I hate anti-biotics. Hate , hate, LOATHE!

I hate the taste (if I were to somehow expose my tongue to the white, horrible powdery stuff that is not anthrax) and I hate the smell even more. Especially when I get gas coming up to exit through my mouth.

EWW!

Hate.

All this because an insect just had to crawl up my ear and die. What the hell did I do to deserve this? Rhetorical question, don't answer.

Sematan Trip

It was on a Thursday night, my dad asked if I wanted to follow for a trip to Sematan. We left on a Saturday morning and came back Sunday afternoon.

Pictures here.

Edit: I'm guessing that Mac, Rin, Raven & Shook, Will and Death would be interested to check it out. And they have barbeque stands!

Clueless

It all started when I was curious to find out what was so great about Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic. It was hook, line and sinker for me. I am COMPLETELY immersed in the game. Now, I have 2 games to get for myself. Preferably Christmas, since I'm too old to be entitled for any gifts from anyone(though I encourage the spirit of giving! :P) Thanks to Vinny and Jerome for getting me into the game!

As a result, I have baggy eyes, radioactive skin (due to late night gaming sessions) and have turned myself into a somewhat of a hermit. I was inclined to say 'geek' or 'hobbity-geek' but, meh.
Which is not a bad thing considering I'm surviving on a shoestring budget till my pay some time June 5th. Why does it take this long to get my hands on my "hard" earned cash? Well, my boss has this habit of being very... uncooperative in the financial issue. But let's not talk about that shall we? Last thing I need to get worked up for this old man's issue when it's not even worth my effort to do so.

Define shoestring budget:
Where I can only afford to buy 1 bun a day or not buy anything and rely on the office's biscuit's and coffee or tea for the duration of the working office hours, bank account is completely drained, and having to suspend my excursions till I can afford petrol and set my communication mode to receive once I have run out of credit.

I know, I know, there are others who are in a more worse situation than I am but please, this is my own personal space! Let me whine as much as I want. Which also happens to relate(somewhat) to another
topic. As HK-47 puts it:

"Warning: Touch the master's blade and lose an arm, meatbag!"

In other stuff, It's been some 3 months(?) since I talked about getting my guitar fixed, cleaned and tuned and getting myself a digital tuner. I still haven't gotten it done. Mostly I dont have the budget for it or I forget and when I remember, I realise I have no budget for it, again.

And I had forgotten to post pictures of my progress on the construction of my PC's custom case. Again. Here's some the earlier pic's I wanted to post:

And that is all there is for today. May the Force be with you.

Incoherent 101

Why is it that I feel like it's not worth doing? This, I mean. Life, people, emotions (damn emotions). This. It's annoying. I feel like what I do aint worth the effort.

I sure as heck ain't gonna go suicidal. It's just. Annoying. Its annoying me that I have this nagging thought of being left out.

I'm counting on blogging this down to get all this off my mind and my flat, muscle-mass deprived chest. It had better. I'm starting to get easily annoyed, extremely short attention spans and just plain nastiness.

*Darkside points gained*
Just when I had a nice pic to upload, the batteries died out on me. *teeth grinding* I so want to Force Crush a living creature now. Maybe not kittens

This makes no sense

Skies, Again

Please bear my incessent ramblings.

I've been feeling tired. Not just tired, the "there isn't much to live for so why the bloody hell do I even bother to try?" tired. Sound suicidal. 'Fraid so. Though I'm too much of wuss to even nick myself.

Sissy Nick: OOH! AAH! OMG THE PAIN! OH THE PAIN!

Emotionless Nick: Oh, shut up will you.

Sissy Nick: But the pain!

*Whacks Sissy Nick on the head*

Sissy Nick: ...

I've been reading some of the comic's from these guys:

Pretty good stuff. I had a knack to draw once but C programming killed it. Not to mention my sudden addiction to PC games. I wonder where I kept my old "sketches". Actually they're more like senseless doodlings. But, what if, i could draw again? Hmm...

I think it should be even better than me trying to write something with an isi(as in got something good to read, instead of this senseless babble). I am infected with some sort of writer's block, as Mac calls it.

not only that, My worst part is short attention span. Very bad. I'm trying to refresh my 3D modelling skills for class tomorrow and I don't have that 'feel' anymore. Back when I was doing my thesis, I literally handled the whole 3D project myself. *joyful beam* Of course as with any project, I had to do the reports but thankfully, my group leader kindly and selflessly handle the documentation part. Of course I still type down the materials she needed.

That time, you can see me staring at my monitor, cigarette in my mouth, hands on keyboard and mouse, and the occasional swearing. At 5 in the morning. And if you look into my waste basket (I'm not sugestting you do!) there would be at least, 10 packets of Nescafe regular packs.

Donnolah, what's wrong with me ah? Anybody know? Is this some sort of mental diesease I am not aware of? Or is this just me going through a phase?

Sacarstic Nick: A 'phase'? at that age? Oh PUH LEESE!

Me: Shut up ass wipe!

Sacarstic Nick: Make me.

Me: Grow up.

Sacarstic Nick: Did you?

Me: Argh!

Anyways, started on my case mod already. SEE?! I cant even focus on a topic when I blog! Dang it! *sigh* Oh well... Anyways, tomorrow's the 16th so...

Happy Anniversary Love!

Back to work. Take care guys.

My Favourite Colour is NOT yellar

Yellow Saber
You've made a yellow Lightsaber

Yellow is the color of Honor and Loyalty. It
symbolizes caution and foreboding in either
direction of the blade, Meaning that the owner
is relatively cautious...but also to be
cautious of them. Since Yellow stands for both
Honor and Cowardice, Once should always think
twice before attacking someone with a Yellow
Saber.

Raining

Heiroglyphs

Ah Monday... There's perfectly nothing wrong about it of course, it's just that I'm still in my holiday mood and I hate going to work in that kind of mood. Also, I have fully recovered from my perpetual headtrip/stoning/OMGworldisspinningohwaititsonlyme.

First things first.

To Will, thanks a bunch. Looking foward to next Gawai at your kampung again. To Leon, thanks for introducing me to Night train! WOOHOO!

You see, Last Wednesday i.e Gawai, I went over to my Will's kampung to celebrate. Though yes, I am a Bidayuh myself and yes I do celebrate Gawai, though on a much smaller scale, i.e, family gathering and barbeque at my grandpa's place in Kuab(or is it Kuap?)(that's my kampung's name)

Minus the beer/liquor.

Anyway, there's the food and the beer. Lamb curry is excellent! And so is the bamboo chicken! :D Put my stuff up stairs since I was staying the night. Went visiting with the parents around a few other houses and the last house we went to served tapai! (local liquor)

By the time we got back it was already 9 in the evening. Much later on, another friend of ours came by for a visit and stayed till like around midnight. I think I've must slept at about 6 in the morning.

Woke up around 9 (cant be sure) cause Will woke me up. And next thing I know, we were smoking hand-rolled smokes and drinking cold beer in the hot morning. On an empty stomach. For breakfast. And that marked the beginning of my adventure in perpetual headtrip. I must've downed 3 cans of it because the day was just hot. Then went down to escape the heat and had some food(lunch time by then) and had more beer. It was hot and apprently, I was bought in by the theory mentioned by a friend of mine that drinking beer helps to alleviate body heat. So, with that in mind, and a hot day to boot and playing cards to pass the time, I think I had another 3 more cans before I had a shower. Boy, mountain cold water feels good! Raven and Shook were already in the house when I got out of the bathroom and The first thing she said was: "Nick, Hi. Do you remember me?" Wow, I must be looking that stoned to get that question! :D

Felt much better after the bath and had another can when Mac and Azreen arrived. Ziggy, Will's elongated dog (which in my mental state looked like a furry grey sausage) was the star of the moment. Hey, cute dog what... Mac's younger brother who we also called Mac got lost on the way but managed to find the place. Sat down, talked, had fried chicken wings (which goes well with beer) and a smoke, and with the whole group together, Will brought us out to the nearby water fall. Took plenty of shot's there. Will had a swim while the rest of us were either:
a: Climbing rocks
b: taking photo's
c: drinking beer
d: any combination above.

Photo's here

Note: I was still perpetually high.

Had a group photo before we head back and split up. Mac, Azreen, Raven and Shook head back to check up on the kitten and a shower before meeting up at Leon's place.
The other Mac stayed behind with me and Will. Had dinner, packed up and met up at Leon's place. Gerome, Mac and Azreen were there already and a while later, Raven and Shook arrived thus completing the circle.

Note: Still perpetually high at that time.

There we were, we being Leon, Will, Raven, Shook, The Other Mac, Gerome, Azreen, Mac and Will's significant other. To get the ball rolling, Leon open up the Night Train, and man, that is one good liquor! Then we had Tequila. This is where my headtrip went gaga. World is spinning, tequila in me throat which by the way, is what tequila does to me. It tends to stick to my throat like it's gonna come up, even after the orange drink and lots of plain water. Listening to chill out music from The Other Mac's repertoire and taking advice from Raven and Mac does alleviate to some extent. I had to leave much earlier though, cause I was bumming a ride back home. There is no way am I going back on my bike in that condition! Had another bath and pass out. Thing is, there doesnt seem to be any hangover's.

Nor was I feeling thirsty.

Meh.

Gaming on Neverwinter Nights does however keep my focus, and avoid family disgruntles. Yes, From Friday till Sunday I did nothing much except playing Neverwinter Nights.

Second,
I got upset and dissapointed at some of the things that Terence and his significant other had told me a few days back. Though it made me feel embarrass for troubling them, hey, history's history. No point staying there but to move on and hope and pray that it wont happen again. Also the issue has been adrressed and resolved. Now, on to reading Order Of The Stick!

P/S: RWMF coming soon. Me Bailey's is still waiting...

Gawai Eve and I draw *blank*

Skies, Again

To friends,
Thanks for everything and my sincere apologies for annoyance caused.

To Raven, Terence and Ja,
Thanks for putting me back on the ground again. Glad to know that I can count on you guys to put me in my place.

Love you guys.

I've been staring into Notepad for the past hour.

I cant think of anything.

I'll go for lunch now.

Oh, and have a happy and blessed Gawai. I'm not having open house as I'll be at Terence's kampung (i.e village) for the celebration. Out of Internet and Digi line till Friday. Take care everyone. And be good.

*YAWN* *STRETCH*

Damn it!

@*%#!

I was happily blogging away with something good to talk about, namely death of a processor, and the re-branding-but-still-sucked service quality of Telekom nnow known as TM and i had to push to power off button on the keyboard.

*mutley grumble mode*

Anyway, other things have come up like the phrases from Diablo 2: LOD NPC (Non Playable Character) Alkor The Alchemist in Act 3: Kurast. I like his phrases.

I hope you dont object to my badgering the witless.

I keep a library of tomes; herectical, exegetical, hermeneutical and pharmaceutical.

You came here with Meshif? That old tourguide to the stupid?! I'm suprised you made here it in one piece.

I have never claimed that you'd live forever after trying one of my potions! Merely that you mught look as though you had.

This is a great day indeed! I would smile, But I'm afraid my face would collaspe!

And he spoke with a Indian-like accent!

Been killing Mephisto, Lord of Hatred 5 times already, and kicked Diablo's hiny 5 times too, but he kicked my can 3 times. Dang, and it was just in Normal difficulty. Playing the Lord Of Destruction expansion currently, but so far in the Frigid Highlands area.

I'll be finishing up with season 1 of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex tonight. Season 2 should be done when I get back. Thinking of getting the Andromeda series season 1 to 4.

Just ran a search for the term 'ghost' and 'cyberbrain' in GITS terms. Links here and here. I would re-write it here but nah, lazy. Besides, lunch beckons.

Later, will head to Saberkas to look at the P3 processor and more oogling of the Nokia N-Gage QD!

:D

EDIT: May 25th, 2005, 1:07p.m
I know it's a little late, but it's amazing what my mind conjure's when i'm in my private time dumping/leaking.

Sarawak has now 3 cities, so congratulations to Miri, the resort city.

Another favourite phrase from that NPC Alkor;
"Kill as many as you can. I have a morbid love of excess"

Blogwork

First things first.

I havent been blogging the past week because I was caught up with the physical world i.e reality. Work being teaching dreamweaver for 4 days, and spending quality time with my girl, Linda while she was here in Kuching.

She went back to her hometown last Sunday. I miss you honey. Last Saturday, we both went with my friends to catch Revenge Of The Sith.

I'm not a big fan of Star Wars, just the everyday sarawakian fan dude person. I did saw episode 4, 5, and 6 when I was young and yes, I can recall some of the scenes in my head, but Star Wars never really got me interested to be a big fan. Anyway's, here's my thought on the movie I can recall back.

  1. Cool sciccor technique head decapitation of the late Count Dooku. Anakin was a dumbass for listening to Senator Palpatine. Still, he's gonna end up as Darth Vader so might as well kill some more.
  2. Anakin. Still as whiny as ever. Goes to prove that hormones/primal emotions cant really be purged.
  3. The lovey-dovey/OMG she's pregnant scene. I'm not sure of what to think.
  4. Artoo's act. Hiding from the androids while Obi-Wan yapping his trap on the comminicator. If Artoo was a person, he'd probably yelled back at him to shut up. the electrical hit-it-in-the-center-eye part was cool. And also the burning oils move.
  5. Jedi moves. Like gymnast's on steroids. Not as beautiful as the lightsaber fights.
  6. Jedi council's being obliviously senile about the emotional condition of Anakin. HELLO! He IS the "Chosen One". Oh well, necessary for him to be Darth Vader.
  7. General Grievous. I wondered why the heck would an android/cyborg be wheezing and coughing like he/she/it got TB. Then I noticed the yellow cat-eyes and the beating heart. Oh...... *TING!* Forgive me of my insolence.
  8. Wookies. Cool.
  9. Yoda, I mean, Master Yoda. How can you not love the little green guy kicking butt, and decapitating enemies with his green lightsaber?! Way, WAY COOL!
  10. Obi-Wan's.... humor. Well, I liked the part where he woke up and the 1st thing he saw was a bottmless drop.
  11. Order 66? Why 66? why the cliche number? Why can't it 69 ka, or 667 ka? Then again, that's just me knowing absolutely nothing about the Star wars universe.
  12. Anakin, this time the fight scene with Obi-Wan. Actually I wanted to whack Anakin on the back of the head for being stupid, and whiny, angsty, and just plain stupid. Dude, just because Obi-Wan snucked aboard your wife's, I mean LATE wife's ship doesnt give you the right to crush her tracea! I mean, sheeh! Well, I guess its necessary for him to become the Darth Vader we know and I love to hate.
  13. Then there's the part where Anakin thinks he's so high and mighty and and tries to jump at Obi-Wan when he's at a disadvantage and ends up having the rest of his appendage (2 feet and the other hand) sliced off. Dumbass.
I wanted to whack Obi-Wan too for not literally finishing him off right there and then. Look, if you loved him as a brother, the least you can do is put him out of his misery instead of watching him being burned alive and still live. No wonder Darth Vader is so..... WAAARGH! Still, story requires Anakin to survive all this shit to be that black armoured dude known as Darth Vader.
  14. Anakin, I mean Darth Vader. The transformation from the installation of the robotic parts to the final enclosure of the face plate. Now, that's nice. And the part where he got duped by the Emperor that he killed his wife by his own hands. And the whole NO!!!! yelling and the room shaking, glass breaking and the breaking from the restraints was a bit of a cliche but, oh well...
  15. The construction of the Death Star. That soon?
  16. The part where the medical robot said to Obi-Wan that although Padme is medically and physically fine, she's still dying and goes to to the extent of saying "Due to un-explained medical terms, she's lost the will to survive." And I thought they figured it all out by then.
  17. The part where Padme IMMEDIATELY names the twins. It's like she knew all along that she was going to have twins, and all the while she never told Anakin? And how'd she even made up her mind about the names?! It could be Jack and Jill for all we know.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the movie much more than the Matrix Revolutions. Which reminds me, I have to get the box set for the extended edition of the LOTR trilogy. I WANT it...

Mac, Raven, and Rin wrote their views about the movie as well.

In other news, 1st local Sarawakian movie, The Legend of The Red Curse is coming out soon. I like the poster at Star Cineplex.

In another news, I am on gaming frenzy. Neverwinter Nights, Diablo 2:LOD, Sacrifice, Mechwarrior 4, Deus EX. And I''m reviving my year old PC case mod project. And I'm thinking of dabbling in web design for a friend.

1017

E.... Cool la.... *i is so teh vely DUH now, no? Yes...*

my counter is registering 1,017 hits... So cool... My sincere thanks to everyone who came here, either by own volition or happened to stumble by. Thanks.

I wonder if my Diablo2:LOD alter ego sythe-wielding druid can do that amount of hits? Nah, unless of course I have a 1000% increase attack speed.

But then, I'm also playing Sacrifice. One of my old favourite's, alongside American McGee's Alice and Homeworld.

Hmmm... She'll be here tonight. Have to remember to clean up my room and my car as well...

Burst comm protocol 840633

Dear visitor's, friends, blog-stalker's, stranger's, (insert kind here)

I am very sorry I haven't been blogging again for the past few days and when I do, it's usually crap.

So, my sincerest apologies to everyone. I hope your intelligence has yet remain untainted.

For some odd reason, I just had lost that spark in me to write my whiny, squeaky ass voice bitching and complaining here. Also, lately blogging to me feels like a chore rather than something i enjoyed to do. Yes, there is something wrong with my conciousness.

I'm still alive, breathing, living, and yes, my Unkymoods still pretty much the same and I still have no idea as to how to tell my parents that my girl's coming to stay with us for a month. And I have 6 more days till she comes here, which means I have about 3 days to come up with a plan to tell them. Why is this even a problem?

Double standard mum.

Playing Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction again. I hope I will be able to come back to blogging again one day. Who knows? I just might have something good to post tomorrow! I just jinxed it, right?

Bye. -Burst comm terminated
